This class 8 corrosive hazard warning diamond placard measures 250x250mm and is compliant with UN ADR, RID IMDG/IMO, ADN and ICAO/IATA. It is made from B.S 5609:1986 conformity laminated polypropylene, making it perfect to transport class 8 corrosives by road, rail, air and sea. You will need to apply this hazard warning placard if you are transporting hazardous goods or chemicals that fall under the class 8 corrosive classification.
Class 8 corrosives are substances which are able to corrode organic tissue and/or certain metals. They include acids such as sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid as well as alkalis like potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide.
